Nice weather

Mercury had a good day considering she had many storm blowdowns to contend with that certainly slowed her pace.
Her shin splints continue to improve and her feet are a little less sore.
She put NJ in her rear view mirror by 5pm and did quite well on the many short, but rugged, NY sections of trail in the Hudson Highlands.
She crossed the mighty Hudson around 8pm and shortly received an extra boost going uphill on the other side when she stepped on a bee’s nest in a blowdown and got stung on the butt.
Another long day at the office for Mercury, Jupiter and Pegasus.
Onward to Connecticut tomorrow!
